  • Clipboard and IE6 problems.

We have this page at work that we fill in and whenever we get to the end it copies our steps to the clipboard so we can past it in our logs but for some reason it won't work on my system. I always end up using someone else's system the emailing the steps to myself. Needless to say it's wasting my time and pissing everybody off.

    Work system specs:
    Win98 4.10.1998
    IE6.0 with all the updates

I've tried resetting all options in Internet Options without success. I don't know what else there is to do.

Can you guys help me out please?

I have no specific idea but if the page is stored incorrectly in cache it can cause problems. Try clearing your internet cache if you haven't already.

    Does the page us vbscript?
    Try updating/reinstalling that.
    It could kick something loose.

try adding the extra clipboard component....
If there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.

The clipboard component isn´t installed by default.

Go to add/remove programs\windows setup, you´ll find it under system tools.
