  • MSI 745 Ultra losing FSB settings

Every once in a while my MSI 745 Ultra "losses" its FSB settings, making my Athlon XP 2100+ show up as a 1500+. I'm using the 1.3 BIOS and has anyone else run into the same problem? I haven't tried any new BIOS rev since I had a hell of a problem with 1.4 and the Computer not booting.
Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

    I vote for a MSI745 sticky

Look through threads from the last month, maybe two. This seems common. Apologies if you already did

If you reset while booting it will revert back to the FSB @100mHz.

      Yes has been mention before

Bios 1.4 was icky icky icky. Only BIOS's to use are 1.3, 1.5 or 1.6.

I actually like it when my board does this. If I have my multiplier set too high, I just have to give the system a few minutes before it knocks itself back down to 100MHz and boots
