TMPGEnc SVCD with I-Author
Apparently I truly am an idiot (no offnese Chris), but I said earlier that the MPEG2 quality was not as impressive as I had originally thought. In my defense I did say that I thought it was settings on my part. In order to get it to work properly I had to encode and then DEMUX with MPEGtools, then use the I-Author MUX app. It looks great on my PC and on my stand alone DVD. Cool, cool stuff. What's nice about I-Author is that you can build menus and it creates a xxx.cif for EZ CD Creator. It's pretty painless except that you have to do the extra demux/remux, but this is prety fast. I take back my previous statement about quality, TMPGEnc rules!!
