  • Irritating XP behaviour

Every time I reboot my machine the window animation when minimizing/maximizing is enabled. Disabling it doesn´t help.
Not the end of the world but irritating.

Anyone know how to disable the window animation permanently?

TweakUI or TweakXP might help (should be able to find them on Google...)

        There's a checkbox in TweakUI/General:

        Enable Window Animation

          Yes, I know that.
The problem is that although this is unchecked, as well as in control panel->system->advanced->settings->visual effects, rebooting enables the feature all on it´s own.

            Buggered Warez version? (just kidding)

Have you tried to restore back to when it didn't happen? If yes, sounds like a reinstall might be neccessary.
