  • Question on Dell LCD's

I've read that Dell uses rebranded Samsung LCDs..does anyone have a list of what Dell model is eqivilant to the Samsung Model?
Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

No, but I have seen my father-in-law's Dell LCD and it's pretty darn nice. Not gaming quality, but then again it's last year's model.

Company A buys from company B with the rights to put their name on it.

Not a lot of help, but my Dell 2000fp says PixelView when its first turned on.

I dont know if thats the panel make (doubt it), or the company that makes the controller for the OSD etc.

Actually, Im not 100% sure the name is pixelview, but its something along those lines.

Very very nice monitor anyway, fine for games.

The Dell 1900 looks very similar to my Synmaster 181T in layout.

From doing some research on this...the 2000FP is a relabed Benq Monitor and the 1900FP is a Samsung. The 2000FP is awesome, but I'm having a really hard time justifing $1K+ for a montior. If I could get it for under a Grand I be on it like stink on shit. I'm seriously considering selling the extra 19inch monitors I have and maybe pulling the Parhelia out if I heard pans out.
