soundblaster driver problem

i've got this game, virtua tennis, which is probably the only game i can play at 1024x768x32 at decent framerates with my g400 these days.

anyway this game has a bug. it crashes every time a game is about to start. the faq says upgrading soundblaster drivers help. removing soundblaster drivers did help.

i've tried almost every friggin soundblaster driver under the sun and cant get this game to work. which is the best the most reliable one simply the one i need to play this game?
