  • Is it possible to use Vid Tools through a Network?

I was wondering, if it was possible to use the video tools through a network.

I have 2 PCs connected together.
A G400max with a Rainbow Runner card in one.
Is there a way so I could use the power of the rainbow runner
from the 2nd pc from the home network?
The use would be to watch TV, not really to record in this way.

Please let me know if it can be done. It would be really cool

    No.....

If your goal is just to watch TV from another PC it is possible to use Windows media encoder 7.1 (free from microsoft) and stream it across your network and watch it on the other PC with media player.

I used this to watch football (really usefull during the world cup) and hockey games from my office during those boring evening and night shifts (needs about 300 kbps of upload bandwidth to work well over the internet).

One drawback if that you won't be able to change the channel remotely.
