  • triplehead resolution limits?

    Hi all,

I'm considering purchasing a Sony P232W 23" widescreen TFT (1920x1200 native resolution) and a Parhelia to drive it with. If I connect the display using DVI, I see it should work at 1920x1200 if I use drivers V1.01.00.080 or later, which is great.

However, does anyone know if I'd be able to run two RGB (analog) monitors at 1024x768 as well, in addition to the 1920x1200 DVI monitor? (The Matrox site says a triplehead configuration of RGB + DVI + RGB is ok, but that the maximum triplehead resolution is 3840x1024, which would be too low for my three monitors.)

Has anyone tried this or managed to get it working?

    Many thanks,

    Chris.

    Wont work.
For triplehead, all 3 displays must be at the same resolution and refresh rate.

      Ok, thanks...

Could I instead ditch one of the monitors and use the dualhead features to run a DVI output at 1920x1200 and an RGB at 1024x768?

      Many thanks,

      Chris.

        That should work.
In DualHead mode, you can select separate res/refresh.
