  • Age of Mythology/SC Turtle Beach Issues

I know there are a lot of TB SC users here....any of you get a chance to play Age of Mythology? A few people (myself included) are having issues with this card and AoM...and Microsoft seems to acknowledge the issue.
I was curious to see if anyone here has had any problems.
    thanks

There hasn't been official word from them on the issue. But someone at an AoM forum called and was told this by a MS rep...so I guess you can take it with a grain of salt at this point. I'm just trying to see if there are other SC users out there with capable systems experiencing problems.

My problems are with 'stuttering'. Whenever characters in the game will talk, or when event music starts, the game will stutter for a few seconds. With audio disabled the issues disappear. I don't have this problem with similar RTS games such as AoE or Star Wars: GB.

Hmmm.....I notice that one poster is having no problems at all but one that another notes that he has a "KT" chipset. The VIA chipset would take care of one pool of problem systems, but you're using an Intel chipset. Still....it is on an ABIT board

What is your IRQ sharing situation? Is the TBSC sharing with anything else?
