    excuse me if this was already posted, but here's a juicy review of multi-monitor implementation on a Radeon 9000, Nvidia GeForce4 TI-4600 and Matrox Parhelia -- excellent read:

                  I thought the latest nView and HydraVision allow independent display in Win2k, no?

                        see... thats the sort of thing that pisses me off about ATI... they could very easily implement it on the 7xxx, 8500 and 9000 cards without a problem, especially since they have the code base already there... but... they probably won't or probably won't for a while...

                        so much for unified drivers...

                            Actually I've found (oddly enough) that Nview 2.0 (41.03 drivers) actually allows for the use of independent multimonitors resolutions in 2K, as well as a surprising DVD Max clone.
