  • Pick a new name for the 64MB Parhelia

I think a great new name would be the Matrox G450.

    Oh never mind that.

    How about Matrox TNT M64?

    Sorry.

I just can't help myself when a company takes one step forward, two steps back.

Wasn't the latest news that the 64 MB version is canned? Read about it here: http://forums.murc.ws/showthread.php...5&pagenumber=7

But if it comes, the "Matrox Paralympia" might not be a bad choice...

obvioulsy it will be called Parhelia MX or better yet Parhelia XP. which will then be sold together with an Athlon XP running Windows XP in a Lian Li XP case (limited edition) on an ASUS 7XP Board with 1GB XP-RAM powered by an Enermax 500XP PSU.

Is Jon Phlips still at Maximum PC ?
If so, we're still waiting for VideoLoca's Bichinfast3D II

it should be sold under some other brand name in stead of matrox, it isn't even worthy of the powered by matrox logo.

                            Dobert,

JP is still the Editor-in-Cheif. Unfortunately VideoLoca went out of business after coming out with a 4MB version that was slower than the original. The original Bitchin'Fasts are as hard to find as the Voodoo5 6000.
