  • Need a new 15-20" TV

The TV we have in my apartment busted, and we need to get a new one. I have TV-in for my computer, but the shows my bro wants to watch happen to be on when I need to do homework . Any recommendations on what to get <$200 USD? Not really a home theater purchase, but so many brands and so many "new features" compared to our old Sony TV with crap audio bought probably 8 or so years ago.

Samsung is generally a good buy...

I second Samsung. Also add Toshiba to the 'possibles' list.

JVC is usually the best quality for the least money.

Let's put that a different way.. they aren't cheap, but they aren't expensive either, and they give you a lot of goodness for what you pay.

I like the Panasonic pictures the best. Second is Toshiba with Sony in 3rd. Sony's are typically more expensive though.

I'm a big Panasonic man when it comes to consumer electronics though.

I've had Sony and Panasonic TVs and have been very pleased with both makes.
