I'm putting together a system for a friend of mine and I was wondering what would be a decent priced 17in CRT monitor to get him. To make stuff a bit easier...look at Newegg.com stuff since thats where I'm getting the rest of his stuff from :)

As long as...

- FST
- 16.1 inch
- 90+kHz
- black or pearl white case

Everything is good...

I've never even heard about them until now.

They're the best when it comes to pro monitors. I would also suggest an LG Flatron 795FT, as far as I know, it's the only flatscreen monitor without those annoying damper wires across the screen. Image is very crisp on mine and the price is quite good as well.

LG was the other company I was going to mention along with EIZO. LG does sell stuff here, but it's mostly crap.
