      Mine was Collective Soul, their first album.

          buddman.. the 2nd cd i got actually was Collective Soul.. the one that came out in 95.. blue case. i guess it was called Collective Soul- Collective Soul

              Err... I dunno. The first album I recall plunking down my hard-earned ducats for was... Van Halen, 5150.

              But I think it might have been my money that bought Weird Al's "Dare to be Stupid" some years previous.
