No Stereo Sound from Rainbow Runner G-Series?
I have recently started using avi_io to record programs off the air with my G100 and RR G-Series. It seems that all my recordings are mono despite the tv station broadcasting in stereo.
The Matrox vidcap driver apparently doesn't have an option to select the tuner audio program (eg. mono, stereo, SAP). After some experimentation, it's also apparent that though the PC/VCR program has audio program settings, these settings do not carry over to applications that use the vidcap driver...
Is there any way to record tv programs in stereo? The RR G-Series has a stereo tuner. If it involves a hack or registry key change, I'm willing to do it. If anybody has any solutions, I'd be very interested in hearing from you! I am using VT1.52 on the Win 98 platform. Thanks.
