Windows Update, W2K+SP3 and MP6.4 - whats up with the combination?
Just curious and trying to understand what our MS brothers have done now.
Pre SP3 I was also running on MP6.4
Whenever Windows update was run, I got offered either MP7.1 or lately MP9 beta as a recommended update component.
Now, post SP3 application, I am still on MP6.4 by choice, but Windows update no longer offers any MP7.1 or MP9 beta updates.
Do I now understand that the DRM components that they included under the newer versions have been slipped onto my system under the cloak of SP3?
Anybody else seeing the same ? - what do you make of it?
