ATI chipset help!

Hi all,

I've got a Pc here in front of me with an ATI chipset EQS motherboard in it ( http://www.eqscomputers.com/catalogue/PM-275AM-DMS.pdf )

And I have no idea where to get drivers from - anyone?

Now this is a crap board - runs runs through a 3dmark2k1 run (athlon 1gig - massive score of 1219 ), but play an MP3 and it will lock hard after a couple of minutes.

Spent all day yesterday on it - unreliable piece of sh1t!

Locks hard/reboots/resets and corrupts BIOS/etc etc after a few minutes of 3dmark - must have been lucky that one time yesterday it completed! Tried different gfx/sound cards, various installs of windows and all unreliable.

On its way back now.

Be warned - don't buy an EQS board or anything with an ATi chipset!

The NForce is a much better alternative to the ATI A3. I'd suggest you try the latest bios for it....

...does this board use the Ali, VIA, or ATI southbridge???
