  • BattleField 1942 & Matrox G400

    Hi,

I just got this game and installed it on my WinXP SP1 machine

    I have G400 16MB AGP,
    P III 800,
    384MB RAM,
    Latest BIOS & Drivers

Game video settings is with the Medium preset or default settings

when I launch the game it gets to the menus fine, I then start a singleplayer , campain , when the game starts I have wierd graphics that looks like something went wrong here, single colour, blinking stuff, this is not how the game is suppose to be, looks like some kind of a glitch.

    can you help ?

Last i checked Battlefield 1942 required a video card with Hardware T&L, something the G series of cards didn't support.

yep, it requires a T&L-card and G4xx doesnt do T&L.

you can still play it but it is a bit difficult

really? how can I play it with a G400 ? What are the settings ? since right now all I get is greenish stuff on the screen, I guess this is because of the T&L , but how to disable it ?

        thanks
