  • Dualhead Clone? how to enable?

Hi! I think this would be the right forum to post this question.

I'm setting up a server useing some old parts, and a G400MAX.

I've hocked it up to my tv useing a s-video cabel. the DVDMax feature works great! But I do not have a monitor, so it would have been good to use the tv.

    1. The problem is that I can't enable it! The only setting I can change is the "quality/Preformace" option and the "Allow scaling" option!?! Why isn't there a "Enable" option?

    2. Another question is; Should the DualHead Multi-display be enable for the clone option to work?

    3. And lastly. Does the G400 support Pal 60?

Thx. Hope someone could help me out

    Hi,

The G400 on the Marvel supports PAL @60Hz

    Go:
Display Properties > Settings > Advanced > DualHead.

    Select:
    Dualhead Clone DVDMax or Zoom
    Use DualHead DVDMax
    NTSC or PAL
    DVDMax Options

Thanks Debbie...but my problem is not that I can't find the dualhead options. Its that I cant enable any anything other than dualhead with two monitors (no tv) and dvdmax. On these two I find the options "Use DualHead Multi-Display" and "Use DualHead DVDMax"

I can't find any boxes that says that I can enable/use the zoom or clone options.

The closesed I've got is to get my screen 1 & 2 to overlap.

I run win XP... can this be a part of my problem?

        Hi Syversen,

I would try and install the drivers again, but make sure that you uninstall the preiviously installed drivers.

No need to re-install the drivers:
you have to assign a hotkey in the powerdesk hotkey menu to clone, and then hit the hotkey

Even after you've defined the hot-keys, you also have to be running under an account with administrator privileges to be able to change or enable dual-head mode.
