Anyone out there know of a program that will help me find certain objects in the sky like, Mars, Jupiter (allready found Saturn), andromeda galaxy, venus and so on.

I've heard of a good program called redshift, but I don't know what it did (did let you fly through the solar system though, IIRC), and it was a little while ago. Wouldn't be surprised if there are newer versions though.

I like Distant Suns as well. Very nice & runs in Win2K/XP.
Also interesting - astronomy freeware;
