  • removing the parhelia heatsink

i have had a lok at my parhelia heatsink and the surface area is really pathetic is there any way of removing it without damaging it as i want to fit this one instead

if i drll holes in the correct places on the heatsink do you think i will be able to use the parhelia scres or pins or whatever they are without using adhesive as i hate that stuff
    cheers

Remove fan. Release retaining pins. Heat with hairdrier for ~1 minute. Will virtually fall off.

Yes that should work... or an alternative would be to use solid insulated copper wire ~18 guage should do it. Just string through holes and between pins to align. Twist together on back side of card.
