  • Nvidia related - driver overclocker question

By any chance, does anyone know how to increase the maximum allowed frequency in the driver overclocker ? Some reghack or something.
I need to take the core of my Ti200 to 240 MHz and it only allowes for 220.
I'm using the 40.41 detonator so nvmax and other utilities won't work anymore.

Merge it into your registry and go into display properties and it should be there.

That's what I used to open the hidden options (driver overclocker, refresh rate settings, agp settings...).

The problem is it only allowes for a maximum of 220 MHz for the core and 500 MHz for memory.
I need to increase the maximum allowed core frequency.

NVMAX won't work with the new drivers.

Having a thought. If I were to force install my Ti200 as a Ti500, do you think it would set the clocks to 240/500 by default instead of 175/400 or at least widen the allowed frequency ?

I strongly doubt that that will work. But i've never tried.

You can always try guru3d.com and see if there are any good utils there to help you out.

For some unknown reason my Leadtek Ti200 TDH will only be stable at 240/500 if I use the driver overclocker.
WinFox (Leadtek's utility), PowerStrip, Riva Tunner are stable only at 200/500.

Doh ! should've remembered that installing drivers through device manager (update driver), instead of the provided setup, keeps the old driver settings
