    I think this is just a manifesto, they just mean to say "Look, we haven't been slacking off, it's Infineons's fault"...too bad, it could have been something.

      Axe builds on Bitboys patented XBA™ technology, and a complete prototype chip has been manufactured by Infineon Technologies on their 0.17 micron embedded DRAM process. As Infineon has closed down its embedded DRAM fabrication line, Bitboys will not bring Axe to the PC desktop market.
      It's Infineon's fault Can't anyone else make these chips?

          For once I agree. In the rest of the article you can clearly see that the Radeon 9700 (and the Parhelia too if I remember well) are stronger than AXE.

            Of course the 9700 is faster, the card was supposed to be coming out a year ago.
