  • underclocking the g450 etv

    is there a way i can under clock the g450 etv so that when i over clock my cpu the g450 etv will go back to its default?

    Overclocking your CPU has no effect on how the video card is clocked....

      Is he by any chance talking about overclocked AGP bus speed ?

        I think so.

        To answer the question: No, those are two different clocks that have nothing to do with each other.You're not overclocking the entire eTV, just the AGP bus.

        Force AGP 1x if you haven't already - that's about all you can do to try to stabilize an over clocked AGP bus.
        Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

          Don't know about G450eTV but my G400 has no problems with AGP 2×@83MHz (BX 133 FSB)

            Actually, that should be 89MHz.
