mathematiciens finish Escher drawing...

Dutch mathematiciens have finished a drawing by Escher. During the making of this drawing, M.C. Escher stumbled on a math-problem he couldn't solve, leaving a small portion (the center) of the drawing blank.
Now, the drawing has been completed:

(it might even become my new favorite Escher drawing !)

if it weren't mathematical, I'd say there were some good drugs around at the time!
