  • M$ virtual machine

    Evening all!
    I just wanted to play Jagged Alliance 2, I tried an editor for it, but it gives me the message: "Unable to start the application. The Microsoft virtual machine is not found"
    I searched on the web but it seems like M$ put the download offline, has anybody an idea where I can get it from?
    Specs:
    MSI 745 Ultra :: AMD Athlon XP 2000+ :: 1024 MB PC-266 DDR-RAM :: HIS Radeon 9700 (Catalyst 3.1) :: Creative Soundblaster Live! 1024 :: Pioneer DVD-106S :: Western Digital WD800BB :: IBM IC35L040AVVN07

    MS had to pull it due to the settlement with Sun. WindowsUpdate still has it I'm told.

    Otherwise you'll need to hit Sun.com and grab their JavaVM.

        How to find it...

        I had a similar problem last night. (As in, needed MicrosoftVM, get your mind out of the gutter... )

        I did a Google search for "microsoft vm download xp" and came up with some places to get it from.

        Was one of the places i found it.

        p.s - If anyone objects to me posting a link to it seeing that MS had to pull it, let me know and i'll remove it.

        Phill...
