  • win xp and marvel G400 with Return to castel

    Hi

    a little problem...
Win XP with Marvel G400 won't work with Return to castel Wolfenstein even after I installed the patch on the Matrox Site for GL extensions....

I've also return to the drivers on the Win CD because the game was not working with the Win2k drivers that I had....

    It says:
    Wolf 1.3 win-x86 Mar 14 2002

It sounds like you may have an incorrect setting in the game (could be set for glide instead of OGL), or possibly the opengl32.dll from a different card installed (could be using a mini-port from a different card that is interfering with normal OGL operations).

Make sure the game is set for OpenGL, and not Glide, and look in the game's folders for opengl32.dll. If you find one, delete it (only from any game folder, not from the windows\system(32) folder).

      I have in a folder called GL 2 files: openglv3.dll and openglv5.dll that's all...

I have not set anything to Glide in the game... the game never launches !!!

I have another video card a S3 savage4 that i have to uncheck the option ''extend my desktop...'' because OpenGL does'nt work with 2 monitors....

      Other ideas ???
