How do I install a new codec in win2000?
this has me stumped. I am a long time RRS user who has moved to a pyro on win2000.
Now I knew the DV type 1 to 2 switch in win98, using the adaptec DVsoft codec so I could use premiere (worked great)now win2000 won't work with the DVsoft codec, I don't know why, it works with NT and 98? So I found this DV codec from mainconcept, want to try it but. Please help.
If anyone knows a simple way to capture in win2000 so I can use the files in Premiere I would very much like to hear what you have to say. I capture with MediaStudio, using the microsoft DV codec, switch from type 1 to 2 but premiere will not list this codec or accept the file.
