Hi (I think I have answered this before?)

I am the proud owner of a Sony TRV120e & it's a good camcorder. My previous TRV 110e was excellent as well.

The main extras on the TRV120 are 25x zoom, 100x digital & LP mode.

After enabling DV-in with the AutoPC95 www.lynxdv.com you also get:
analogue to digital conversion, meaning capture by IEEE-1394 cards from non Digital players (VHS etc). White balance control is also enabled(Trv110e also)

In answer to your question there is a lot of difference between the two camcorders.
Extra Zoom & LP don't rate high on my list of must have features but are a nice bonus, the analogue to digital conversion (on the fly)is very good though. (All D8 camcorders will convert digital to analogue on the fly after DV-in enabling)
