For those that have already downloaded the Compaq 300MB release, these are essentially the same drivers without the Compaq licensing agreement. No need to get 'em again.

Drivers only 25 MB! That's INSANE! I can get ALL drivers for my system AND DirectX and stay below that!

Why do they need to be that big?

        1. they can't code!
        2. Optimize!?! whats that strange word !?!
        3. MSCAB has a compression option but Creative coulden't find anyone on their tech staff who bothers to read manuals, so it aint enabled!
        4. We really want to make people PAY extra for the CD
        5. They have never experienced a modem connection!
6.Even the "Drivers Only" includes TWO bloated apps!!
7.They are Writing their drivers in MSVisualBasic!
        8. The drivers has the complete Sharware version of Quake as a "Cool" Easteregg!
        9. They compailed them with the "-debug" setting!
        10. Theres a complete list of anyone that has ever worked at Creative labs in binary format in the EUALA!

If there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.

If Creative follows its traditions, those extra 20 megs in the package will be different EAX and Surround mixer presets that get dumped straight into your Windows registry
