  • First parts of the new system

    Ordered today a K7VTA3 V3.1 and 512 MB PC333.

August will be time for a new processor.

I hope to see a Parhelia soon, too

      Same here. Happy funtime!

A new machine is being built as we speak in my top-secret underground fortress.

      A Chaintech 7KDD

Dual AMD goodness: Onboard Promise RAID, NEC USB 2.0, Functional USB 1.1 (B2 Southbridge). Very reasonably priced!

      More goodness:

Still waiting on Processors (Dual MP1900s and 1GB RAM).

I don't really get the purple DIMM sockets, but everything else seems useful one way or another.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard coated bastards with bastard filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive, bubble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine. -- Dr. Perry Cox
