  • Parhelia at 1920x1200 ????

    Hi,

how can I change resolution to 1920x1200 (only 1920x1440 in display properties)? I thought Matrox would support it...ATI and NVIDIA have this mode.

    thx

Currently there is no way to add custom or wide screen resolutions.
Wide screen resolutions should be added in an upcoming driver release (though not necessarily the next release).

It is in the .inf, but is currently disabled in the drivers.

may i ask why someone would want to have 1920x1200 resolution?!

          I mean it isn't 4:3(Standard) or 5:4 (if you want that, 1280x1024).

I'll be heart broken if Parhelia doesn't support the native resolution for my Samsung 240T. I've my heart set on a Parhelia because the marketing specs says the card supports INDEPENDENT DUAL HEADS at 1920x1200 resolution each.

Anyway, the card still is not sighted in Singapore yet...hopefully the drivers will have support for this resolution once the card hits these shores...

Um.. I dunno what everyone else is experiencing, but both the CD drivers and the most current ones support 1600x1024 and 1200x1080 for me. I would like to see Matrox add the widescreen resolutions supported by Quake3 (856x480) and Unreal Tournament (1280x800) plus 1920x1200. I got these resolutions even with only the basic drivers supplied by W2K. The Sony drivers added the 100Hz option to 1600x1024.

                    Joko21,

I must be getting old. I can't run my GDM-FW900 at anything more than 1600x1024 (large fonts) without going blind trying to read the tiny text.

It's a shame Parhelia currently doesn't even run at that resolution. GET WITH IT MATROX!!

How true. I have a Leadtek GF4, which has about the best signal quality you'll get from an NVIDIA card. Unfortunately, even my old Voodoo5 5500 had a better signal. DAMMIT, even my S3 VirgeVX card had a better signal!!!
