  • My Retail Parhelia Benchmarks

For the lack of anything else, I used MadOnion's 3DMark 2001. I ended all processes with the Close All feature of End-It-All. Am using the 228 drivers. The attachment is a screen shot of the results. What are others getting? Are there other utilities to use?

    Something aint right.
I get higher scores with a slower processor and an OEM Parhelia.
Make sure you have vsynch (page flipping), 16xFAA, and aniso off.

        Hmf.
I HOPE something is wrong, these scores are lower than what my Geforce2mx400 is doing.
What resolution where you using? The standard is, as far as i remember, 1024x768x32.

Something is wrong (I hope!) which is why I posted the following message: http://forums.murc.ws/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34411 in Hardware. As I said in there, my whole system feels slower (not to mention the abysmal FPS's I get in FS2k2, the only game I really play).

The attachment is my Parhelia config (running at 1024x768x32) and my system config is my signature. The Parhelia was installed in an original XP Pro install after I removed my G400MAX drivers via Add/Remove Programs.

Any help you can provide would be appreciated!

change 16x aa to when the app needs it
That will make a world of difference where 3DMark is concerned.

damn, I wondered why my marks were so low compared to others... I had isotopic filtering maxed out, oops!

                    - I just got the card today. Fresh Format with Fresh Install of Windows and a Nice Fresh Perfectly Working Parhelia . Im very pleased with the Game Performance this card offers. I leave 16xFAA on all the time. And no trouble. Not even in Americas Army. Where i get a very nice playable framerate in 1024*768*32*16xFAA.

Well anyway, heres my irrelevant 3DMark2001 Scores .

This is Normal, no FAA, Texture Filtering and no GigaColour. -

Edit: I ran 3DMark2001 again, with GigaColour, and scored around the same. ? -
