  • Which mainboard for Parhelia

    Greetings everybody!
    I am currently using the Epox EP-8KTA2, but I am planning to get a new one soon.
    Now I heard that there are problems with Abit boards (never planned to get one anyways...), but on another forum I heard that the Gigabyte GA-7VRXP (the board I want to get) causes much trouble with modern graphics cards, but I never heard about any issues in the reviews I read about it.
    So what Socket-A board should I take? I really hope that you have some suggestions here. Most important things:
    The Parhelia should work with it and it should be at least a DDR-266 board.
    Specs:
    MSI 745 Ultra :: AMD Athlon XP 2000+ :: 1024 MB PC-266 DDR-RAM :: HIS Radeon 9700 (Catalyst 3.1) :: Creative Soundblaster Live! 1024 :: Pioneer DVD-106S :: Western Digital WD800BB :: IBM IC35L040AVVN07

    Any of the SiS 745 chipset MB's work. If you're an OCer I'd suggest the same as mine (see sig) as it has better implementation of tweaks than anyother out of it's kind.
