G550 DVI Resolution Problem

I have just installed an 18 inch IBM T84H LCD Panel that I am running in conjuction with a 15 inch IBM T55D LCD panel on my G550 dual DVI card. My problem is I cannot get the T84H to run at its optimum resolution of 1280x1024, the setup will not allow me to change from 1024x768 which is the optimum resolution of the T55D. I have loaded all the latest drivers for both the monitor and video card but alas no help. Anybody have a resolution for my problem.

did you buy the cable from the matrox store??

what position on the dual dvi cable is the t84h on...the 1/2 or the 2/4 end of the cable?

has the matrox software properly...and acurately, identified the attached hardware??

All settings seem correct

The cable is the standard dual DVI cable that came with the card, and the monitor setup recognizes the two monitors for what they are.
