  • NeverWinter Nights crashes w/ Parhelia

    Just got a Parhelia.

NWN runs and looks great, but it looks like the game now crashes when loading large areas.

I saved my last game on my old GeForce 3 in the pub in Chapter 3. Going through the different floors is fine, but when I try to go outside, the game shuts itself down during the Loading bar.

If I try it a second time, my whole system freezes on the Loading bar screen.

    Any advice?

Yes it's a known issue, something to do with areas with cube mapping, should be fixed soon, stay tuned,

I'm happy you guys know about it, so at least I know a fix is possible and coming

Found the same problem. Damn the bad luck. By the way, Grand Theft Auto 3 runs SWEET! I think I'll go back to playing that now, since I can't play Neverwinter Nights.

Try disabling environment shadows and mapping, and shiny water if checked.
