  • Alright, what the heck?

Well, we all know about IBM 75GXPs now, but when I bought this 75GB retail drive, it was before the real ruckus started. I have a brand new retail version drive with all manuals and goodies UNOPENED (the box is opened but the drive has never been removed from the anti-static bag.) If you want to take a chance on this drive and buy it as is, make me an offer. It's a good drive if it isn't one of the lemons, but if you have problems, there is still a warranty in effect.

I may be interested. Could you tell me what facility the drive was made in? (ie Made in "location")

Made in Hungary, but I think Rev. Maynard is already sending me a MO for it.

Well I forgot today was the 4th and the bank and the P.O. were closed. So technically the MO will be out tomorrow.

              Ok Thanks

Ok thanks. Most of the problem drives came out of the Hungary plant, the rest from the Philipines. Fortunately most of the problems were in the 45 and 60GB drives.

              Enjoy & good luck.
