Latest Matrox Drivers. Cannot see any difference!

As soon as the latest Matrox Drivers were issued (end of May this year) I downloaded & installed them, having uninstalled the old'uns beforehand. I chose the correct ones for my card, the Matrox Marvel G-200. All works much the same - but that's the rub! What difference is there between the old drivers & the new ? I fail to notice any change whatsoever.

Can anyone explain the improvement - if any ?

PS: The drivers in question, Video Tools 154 & Display Driver 555. PowerDesk seems unchanged.
