g400 wdm in winXP
Not sure if this is normal or not. Have a G400 and a Studio PCI TV card. They were in separate boxes, and I decided to start shuffling cards down here in my lab.
The studio tv is using a downloadable WDM driver instead of the proprietary stuff pinnacle uses. Love it with PowerVCR II.
I removed that card, but not software and threw in the Marvel. When it rebooted I opened PVCR and it reported a WDM driver for the marvel. It even allows me to change channels.
I can record directly to mpeg1 at VCD rates, but get garbly-gook at higher settings (mpeg1 or 2).
Anyone else have these results?
