Ok, I've asked this question everywhere to everyone, not just online either, and still can't find it. I have spent weeks looking for the guitar tab (acoustic guitar, treble) for a song by Robert Earl Keen called I'm Coming Home. I can play most of the song except for the solo. I've been trying to play the solo by ear but just can't get it exactly the way he plays it. I'm not sure if he's using bar chords or what the deal is. Anyway, if anyone can find the tab to I'm Coming Home by Robert Earl Keen (not the chords, the tab), then I would be in your debt for a long time. I dunno how many people here at MURC are from TX or are even familiar with TX country music, but help would be appreciated. I have until Friday to learn this song...

Yeah, that's the basic chords for the song. A tab (or tableture) shows specifically what to play (what riffs, strumming patterns, solo parts, etc). There have been many people I have talked to that have tried to write out the tab for the solo part, but it never sounds "exactly" right if you know what I mean.

I was trying to see if maybe there was a version for the piano that may be written down for the song (I can play the piano too, and then would easily be able translate it to guitar), but that was a no go as well. All of his songs are guitar. Maybe I can try playing the solo on the piano by ear and see if that does anything.....that or I could buy his entire book of songs, but that's gonna be my last resort.
