  • rt2500 part 2

my rt quality is brilliant. but it`s not really real time..........
everything has to be rendered.............titles aren`t bad, most of them take less than a minute..
but transitions are taking forever, & if i then try just to chop off a few frames for instance it has to re render the project,
what have i missed/set up wrong?

    win 2000.sp2
    abit bx133
    plll 1ghz/133 fsb
    512mb 133ram.
    g450/rt2500.
    santa cruz.
    fujitsu boot drive.
    maxtor 60gb 7200rpm "video" drive.
    w.d. 15gb.
    usb..........hub
    printer/scanner/zip drive.

    help please................

    best wishes

Realtime is to the analog/S-video outputs only.

You still have to render to HDD and IEEE-1394, although this is significantly accelerated over Premiere and an IEEE-1394 card.

    Now THAT's really slow.....
