  • multiple file playback error

    I have loaded MSPro 6.0 and have captured some video from VCR, at full 704x576 frame size. (captured using remote control on a Marvel 400).
    When brought into the timeline of mspro I get the error message 'Multiple file playback error - Preperation Failure' '19205:9:1'.

    Does anyone know what this is?

    What are the correct settings that I should see in the ini file for MSPro6 and a Matrox marvel.

    First try removing this from ulead32.ini:

    PlayDll5=C:\Program Files\Matrox Video Tools\MCLPlugin.dll

    If it doesn't work then add these two lines to it:

    [HardwareAcc]
    NotSaveOpenDML=1

    [Playback]
    RenderAudio=1

    If they don't work add this to ulead32.ini:

    [HardwareAcc]
    AviPlayEngineMCI=1

      The line:
      PlayDll5=C:\Program Files\Matrox Video Tools\MCLPlugin.dll

      is correct but the first part could be PlayDll6. The right side is important, showing which row to be removed.
      Sometimes it looks like this:
      PlayDll6=C:\Program Files\Matrox~1\MCLPlugin.dll
      but it most be removed.

        - deleted the line
        PlayDll5=C:\Program Files\Matrox Video Tools\MCLPlugin.dll

        and everything works fine (mine had PlayDll1= not 5)

        Doc / Fred - thanks for the help
