  • This was unexpected!!! But.......

    Could this be another hint

"As unexpected as 3DLabs' announcement was (we weren't anticipating it for another few weeks) it's just the first in a line of new technologies in the graphics sector. "

I guess he meant, that 3dlab is one of many.
it's just the first in a line of new technologies in the graphics sector. "
This sig is a shameless atempt to make my post look bigger.

What bothers me is the feature list:

          256bit DDR memory bus,
          over 20GB/s memory bandwidth,
          partially DX9 compatible,
          not a TBR card,
          $600 entry price point

Launched THIS MONTH, Expected announcement was a "few weeks later?"

Tell me that this doesn't seem like the parhelia rumors I keep hearing about. Maybe the new Matrox card is using a bought GPU?

After so much disapointment, I wouldn't be suprised to have newfound hopes dashed to pieces, again. Maybe it's only the Murcer's who will eat hates. Hehe.

Then again, I made sure mine is edible.

Matrox does their own designing and this isn't Parhelia

So what if 3DLabs brings out a "killer" card?

Soon there will be a Matrox card in my pc again, no matter how fast this cutey is.

Just believe in Parhelia, and nothing will scare you anymore

                              Have faith..

                              Check his last statement:

Even the extraordinary power of existing GPUs doesn't seem to be pulling the market as much as expected. Watch the skies. Big things are coming. It ain't over till the fat lady is FSAA'd. Let's see what everyone else has to offer. Next Gen 3D is on, baby!

Can it be, could it be...
