Personal Video and Cable conversion

Was curious if there was any talk either my Matrox or users about the ability to act as a personal video recorder (ala Tivio). ATI has announced thier intentions and wondered of this could/would be software or hardware upgrades. Also any luck with a MoreTV/FreeTV that works with the G400 Marvel?
