I can only say this:
The Raptor works best in a dual CPU system as it is VERY cpu intensive. VERY.
If you plan using it in a a single CPU system then stick to a FAST AthlonXP 2000+ or higher or a P4 that is also north of 2ghz with a lot of Rambus.
Its price is dropping for a reason: it's due for a replacement.
Other solultions better than the Raptor, and most other realtime cards currently in the market, are coming soon...both hardware and software.
