I know this isnt the gaming forum but I have a Radeon. So there

Anywho, I recently had the desire to play this very fun game so I busted it out and installed it under WinXP. First of all, this game has always claimed to work under 98 only. The game actually installes and starts up fine. The problem is, I only have two speeds for the game, Pause and Very Slow. This is fine at first because you want to build slowly and watch your tiny town grow into a not so tiny town. But once you get it going you wnat it to run fast for various reasons. I can't seem to fix this very irritating problem. I have tried all of the compatibility mode settings but nothing works. I have scoured the web and foudn similar problems but nothing actually fixed my problem. Anybody else runnign this game on WinXP?

    Thanks,

    Dave
Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

This isn't going to help you much, but what the heck

Played it under Win2K and I didn't find any problem. So I guess it's WinXP related
