Doesn't install correctly under WinXP. Still.

You'd think they'd get it right after a while.

Also downgrades the previous patches... the AGP patch, the RAID patch, the Latency patch.

    *sigh*

          About WIN XP and 4in1's
When I had WIN Me installed I couldn't install any of the i815 chipset upgrades from Intel simply because it was supported as a default in Win Me which I suspect is the reason why only the .inf file get's installed under XP.
You can however manually installe the 4in1's but it doesn't make any difference when it comes to performance or stabillity !!
(at least not on my Epox 8KHA+ and XP 1800+ )

I don't know why the 4in1's downgrade the Latency Patch, but VIA came up with their own patch to that particular problem so maybe that's the reason.

No no. The 4-in-1's downgrade VIA's own patches for RAID and Latency. That's the bizarre thing.

And they say that in XP you should be getting the filter driver, AGP driver, and USB filter. In fact you get none of these.

            It's truly strange.

Alternatively switch off the Picasso part?
