English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleys, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

Actually I was just testing to see if I could input Japanese and be able to read it, sometimes it works... sometimes it doesn't

yeah, it did. I can read the Japense and post in Japanese.

down side is because the document headder says it's an english page I need to force my browser to use Japanese encoding

Try auto-JIS encoding for the page, and you'll be surprised :P

Native English M$ OS's either don't have or don't install Japanese support by default, if your really want to read it you can get a browser update from M$ or most venders....

                    Dan

ps for those of you that are too lazy to / don't have the bandwidth to....

I'm using my computer at work, so I'm neither lazy or don't have the bandwidth, I just can't afford to reboot to install the language support!.

I could always try it on my break.

Update: Ok, I got the language update and set the encoding to Japanese but I still don't see anything different. Gimme a couple of minutes I'll see what I can do.
