You`re in the wrong forum. This is a fact we know for a long time, not a rumour.

Soon has a special meaning to Matrox users.

Soon™ has a time reference based in cosmolgical events rather then a Human based concept of time :D

So what is the best Matrox card, should I get a G550 or G400 MAX? What are the performance, IQ, and feature differences?

Uh...if the teasing sons of motherless hamsters are correct...wait a while longer before buying a Matrox card. How long?

I'll give them until March 24th, that's 21 days from now and the Sunday after Cebit, un;ess something else comes up, that's the day I'll be ordering parts, think they'll announce something by then?

If we would know the answer, we would not speculate ...

xbnmx ... You should get yourself a used/refurbished Max if you want a Matrox card by that date. It will be a bit longer before the next card comes out it seems ... probably by summer.

Where should I go to find one?

You can get some at the Matrox online shop I think. They used to have some (otherwise they wouldn't sell many things:D )

SOON doesn't mean what you think it does. Matrox registered the acronym SOON as a trademark. It means Sometime On the Other side of Never.
