  • TV Dual head probs. W2000 G400

    Hi,

I have a G400, and when running 2 standard monitors the Desktop properties allows me to change the resolution of each screen independantly. When I pluged in the TV cable, and a TV, Windows 2000 decided to use one resolution (1600x600) and so the desktop is stretched between the two, rather than the two being independant.

I really need to run serperate resolutions, and stretching the screen makes programs like PowerPoint display accross both screens, and not one.

I can't find the tick box that says 'use independant settings per screen'

    Any ideas/help?

    Thank you.

What driver are you running? Try running 5.5x or higher to get independent resolutions in Win2k. Hope this helps.
